About Us
Mission
The purpose of the Lititz Garden Club is to bring people interested in gardening together in a fun and social atmosphere, to informally learn and share information about the art and science of gardening and related topics. Gardeners of all interests and experience levels are welcome! Activities include gardening programs/speakers, visits to local gardens and special projects/events.
In particular, the club encourages everyone to learn about, practice, and promote sustainable, wildlife-friendly
gardening practices, through the use of native plants and the elimination of pesticides.
The Lititz Garden Club is sponsored by the Lititz Public Library, 651 Kissel Hill Road in Lititz and meets monthly on the first Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m., with some exceptions. Generally, September-May meetings are held at the library and June/July/August meetings are reserved for visits to local gardens.
